Greetings heroes/citizens, ha… I finished my assignments a few days ago, so now I decided to write a new review just like I promised. This is another Super Imaginative Chogokin (S.I.C) action figure, from the famous Japanese henshin heroes series, Kamen Rider Agito. It’s from Bandai, it was released early this year on the end January. This is a set of figure with bike. The figure is a new sculpt, very new and different design from the formerly released S.I.C Kamen Rider Agito, that was released on 2003. The sculptor for this figure is non other than, Master Ando Kenji. I bought this from Hobby Link Japan (HLJ) for Y6460 (early bird’s price) excluding shipping.

Packaging; the graphic design of this box is very different from the previous S.I.C Agito series. A very large window on the front of the box, perfect for the “Mint In Sealed Box” collectors. It came in a plastic covered tray, put on a thick cardboard with as a background with Agito’s logo graphic. The twisties used to tied this S.I.C was very minimum, the smallest amount of twisties in my S.I.C collection, only four for holding the bike. The plastic tray actually is enough to hold the whole items inside the box in their places but Bandai want to make sure their products are in “tip top” condition when customers have it, so hey used the twisties to hold the bike (the bike is heavy!!!).

Design/sculpts; I love it!!! The design was simple, yet it haven’t lost the touch of “S.I.Cness” the term use by S.I.C collectors. This Agito also uses the new type of articulation, usually they used ball joint for the wrists, but on this figure they start to use an easy snap fit pegs. I’m glad they use this new design, cause it make the figure more easy to played with, and I like to play my S.I.C  Agito also came with a new body design,it was made according to S.I.C Takumi Damashii’s Agito. I like the detailed Ando emphasized on this new Agito, such as the scales on his thighs and body and wings on his back. There is another mask for this Agito (Ground Form, please correct me if I’m wrong, your contributions to make my writings more accurate are very welcome). The figure have a very small amount of chogokin,(die cast metal) only on both of his knees. That’s it no chogokin on his belt or any other parts. Some collectors are disappointed with this, but for me I kinda like it, if too much chogokin on the figure, they always tend to fall off  but maybe the belt should be made with chogokin.
That was only the figure, the bike (Machine Tornador) is heavy with Chogokin I think there are more than 60% used for the bike, mainly on the engine parts. The chogokin was made to fit on the bottom of the bike and thus make it more stable both in normal bike mode and jet mode(again, correct me if I’m wrong). In jet you can put the bike on a stand base that was given. To transform the bike is very easy, just snap off the front and rear wheels and put it back in horizontal (please see the pictures). There only a few parts of the bike that can be detach, (see picture). This bike design is very detail, you can see the speedometer of the bike.

Articulations; the figure is very stabil to stand on it’s own, and movements of the joints are very smooth,no droping armor or limbs, at least mine not. The shoulder armor, was cleverly design so that it will not disrupt the hands movement.Poping the wrist in and out was never this easy on S.I.C. The bikes have no articulations, the wheels can spins and the handle can be turn left and right.

Colorings; the figure was very well painted, I think it have a new color scheme from the previous Agito. It looks more clean and very lightly washed and dry brushed. The bike’s red color looks deep, suitable for the bike almost looks like a real bike. There are also some transparent parts on the bike which make it looks more realistic.

Worth or not to get it? Yes, I still remember when this S.I.C was not officilaly release, there were some custom made Machine Tornador without the figure was selling on ebay, and thank god I was broke that time and did not preorder it. It was selling on “buy it now” price for RM290  and I only bought this for not more than RM250, and it came with figure  So if you ask me worth or not,I say yes, it is.
