Greetings heroes citizen, yesterday I received my latest figma figure, Kamen Rider Thrust, from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight series. I’m not a huge fan of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight but I really love the original Japanese version Kamen Rider Ryuki, and in the original series Thrust is known as Kamen Rider Gai.

Kamen Rider Thrust (Brad Barret) is in contract with Metalgelas (a rhinoceros type mirror monster) hence giving it the rhino motif body armour. Read more

Filed under Action Figure Reviews, S.H.Figuarts

Greetings heroes/citizen. I’m back to day with with another review of my latest purchase. Tamashii Webshouten Exclusive- S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Accel Trial. I’ve already covered the regular form of Kamen Rider Accel few months back check it out here. A brief overview about Accel Trial. It’s an upgraded version of Kamen Rider Accel when Terui uses the Trial Memory that was given to him by Shroud. After several attemps to defeat Weather Dopant , Terui seeks Shroud and ask her about the Trial Memory. Trial Memory took the motif of a stopwatch and racing track signal lights, which is shown as Red,Yellow and Blue lights blinking while in the transformation phase.

Back to this figure, it’s actually only available from Tamashii Webshouten as a limited edition action figure for their members. This figure was manufactured according to the amount of orders made by members, so it’s very limited. It was priced for Yen3360 on their website, if you can buy it directly. Otherwise you have to use middleman service. This action figure was released on late of November 2010. Read more

Hot Toys MMS120 War Machine

Greetings heroes/citizen. Today I’m bringing aboard a guess reviewer, Boyarque. He’s going to lay out his thoughts about Hot Toys War Machine in his first review here. I shared the same thoughts with Boyarque about this Hot Toys, in terms of sculpt and paint-job, this figure is magnificent.

The figure itself is very pose-able but it have some limited movement at some points, not a  big problem because IMHO, War Machine is not Spiderman. He’s a walking tank! The box is (Iron Man 2 series) much simpler than Hot Toys Ironman Series, but still the graphics are still outstanding. Anyway, welcome aboard Boyarque, and hope to read more reviews from you ;)

Hi alls! K, this is my first 1/6 scale figure so if there’s anything lacking with my review, I humbly apologise. In fact, as most of my friends already know, I’m more of a ‘mecha’ guy…and the next 1/6 figure is probably gonna be IM2 Mark VI, that’s it. Being an ardent collector of Yamato Macross, that already takes a huge cake out of my disposable income…lol!

K, let’s get on with it! Read more

Greetings heroes/citizen. Today I’m back with another review. It was so long since I reviewed a Hot Toys figure, in fact any figure  . This time I’m back with Hot Toys Iron Man Mech Test Tony Stark. I know, the movie was played long time ago,and this is not the latest HT’s figure released from the Iron Man’s movie line. Since I can’t get this when it was first released I have to do the review months after it was released  . Anyway this figure is now still available from most toy shops and retail price starts from $140 to $170 depending on where you get it. I don’t encourage you to look for this on ebay, because the price is a quite high there. Try Sideshow, instead since they’ve  just restocked this item. Read more

Greetings heroes/citizen. Kamen Rider Accel is the second Kamen Rider appeared in the Kamen Rider Double (W) series. Accel was designed based on motorcycle motif and not only that, he can transform into a bike form, a bit weird but he still looks cool.

Today I’ll write review of S.H.Figuarts Accel. Bandai previously released Accel in the WFC form, and this is the second reincarnation of Accel as action figure (3 if we includes RHS). This action figure was released on late July in Japan and it’s already reached most toy store worldwide now. If you prefer to get it online I suggest you get it from Hobby Searchl Read more

Greetings heroes/citizen. I was looking for a backdrop that I can use for my review and I found a great website that sells nice backdrop for a really great price. Decoback produces 4 sets of backdrop with 8 different designs. The backdrop is made of a thick stock cardboard, and the printing is semi-gloss and very crisp. Each set of backdrop was printed on both side of the card. The backdrop will be held by 2 pieces of L shaped clear plastic holders. The plastic holders, hold the cards nicely and the cards will not fall or move while they’re on display. Read more
