S.I.C. Kamen Rider Den-O: Rod And Ax Form-Review

Greetings heroes/citizen. Today I’ll review the last S.I.C. I bought, since I haven’t got any new toys lately. Anyway, Kamen Rider Den-O is not my favorite character but somehow I enjoy watching the show. This is a two pack type S.I.C. Bandai like to do that, there’s good and bad thing about that. It’s good because each Den-O will have it’s own body in each type, and the bad thing is there is no Imagin came with them, and don’t forget about the hefty price. I’m not going to write a detail review.

Packaging; the same theme with the last couples of S.I.C. Den-O. nothing unique. The toys were all put on a single plastic tray. Lots of twisties to hold them up,I also included is an instruction sheet.

Design/sculpt; great sculpt for both, but the Ax Form appeared to be more masculine looking than the Rod Form. Yes the Rod Form have a weird looking armor on his shoulder, but it does not interfere the movement of the shoulder. The headsculpt of the Rod Form is more detail than Ax Form. The rod (weapon) was sculpt as a single piece while the Axe need to be assembled yourself, like the gun and sword in last issue. Honestly I hate to assemble them and I prefer a one piece sculpt for the weapon. The weapon’s pieces will not intact properly with each other, that’s why I hate it.

Points of articulations; they using the same inner body for the action figure so not bad.

Colors; I love the colors used for these S.I.C. I have no complain at all about their color.
