Greetings heroes/citizens, do you play Halo 3 video games? Are you a fan of McFarlane’s Toys? If yes stick around to read more about Halo 3 Spartan Soldier EOD that I will review. I got this a few weeks ago, retail price for this action figure is about $14.++ each, this action figure is from McFarlane’s Toys. This is the second from the Halo 3 action figures series.

Packaging; this is the most simple packaging ever made by McFarlane’s Toys. Only a plastic tray,a bubble plastic that was glued to a thick cardboard. McFarlane previously released their products in a clam shell plastics, I hate those kind of packaging, because I’m a person that will opened my toys that I bought, not an MISB (Mint In Seal Box) kind of person. So with this kind of packaging it will save me time to open it. It supposed to have twisties tying the figure on the plastic tray, but for some reasons there is not a single twisties used for this figure.

Design/sculpts; this action figure stands about 5 inch tall. For a small action figure, I’m amazed with the detail sculpt and design. This is a Spartan Soldier EOD, it have a different helmet and armor from the usual Spartan Soldier.Like most McFarlane’s Toys, the sculpt for this figure is superb, and I like the interchangeable armors and helmets features that was implemented to these action figures line. If you own more than one colors/types of Spartan Soldier you can swap their helmets and armors to create your own multiplayer characters just like in the game. I don’t know what to say about this figure it’s small, cute, detail, looks like in the game and very high articulations. I love it!!! Do I need I write more about it? Yes, sure I do

Articulations; it features more than 20 points of articulations, 26 to be precise. I didn’t count it, but any action figures that have more than 20 articulations, sure are fun to play with. It have ball joint for the head, shoulders, wrists, hips and upper waist. The rest of the joints are mostly 2 ways joints. This action figure can be pose in almost unlimited poses, that’s why I love it!!!

Colors; colors applications are good, not too good and not too bad. Hey, you have to accept that this is not an exclusive action figure and if something that was created to be a mass produce products, you must accept some flaws that might happened to your toys. But for me I’m lucky, this action figure was painted black/gunmetal as the base and light green with a moderate black wash on it for the armor/helmet.As for the details, they used some red color for the lines on his armor, gold color for the goggle, white for the helmet (oxygen line/communicator ???) and some white/black/grey for the lining’s details.

Accessories; Not much only a riffle and grenade. The riffle is some kind of pump gun. Both accessories can be attached to the figure, the riffle can be attached at the back of the figure while the grenade can be attached to his right thigh.Neat, more reasons why I like it!!!

Collectors values; I don’t know what will happened to this kind of action figure, there are loyal McFarlane’s Toys fans out there and I think there will be more fans in the future, but considering that this is a mass produce products it will take some time to reach a high value as a collectors item.I don’t care about that, I bought toys to play anyway.
