Review: Hot Toys Joker Bank Robber Version

Greetings heroes/citizens, it’s been sooo long since I write a full review, by the way how’s the new theme? Today I managed to spent some time and played my latest 12″collection. Hot Toys Joker Bank Robber Version , this Joker is from first several minutes of The Dark Knight movie, when he robbed the bank and kills all of his partners. Anyway if you want one contact me I have some extra in-stock now and ready to ship. Back to this action figure, retail price for this action figure range from $140-$170. This action figure is using a Hot Toys true type body and the heads were sculpted by Yuli.

Packaging; the graphics are very artistic and the box and sleeve are heavy with images this is what I like about Hot Toys packaging. There is a sleeve for the box,both sleeve and the box have a dusty finish. I like with the information they included on the back of the box, it made my life easier to write who is the sculptor for this action figure. Inside the box , Joker is put inside a plastic casing which consist of a plastic tray and two layer of cover. Some twisties to hold the action figure, but not very annoying. Also included in the box is an A4 size poster of all the Hot Toys The Dark Knight.

Sculpts/design; the heads sculpts are the best job done for a Joker action figure in the TDk line.I can’t see any other series that can top that. I’ve saw the previous Hot Toys Joker,and seeing this new head sculpts, I think those who bought the last Joker might buy this just because of these new head sculpts. Seriously it looks so alive, sometime I felt like the eyes blinked at me, you can see and feel the skin texture and lines on the head sculpts. A great job by Yuli!

As for the costume, I’ve never seen any 12″ action figure that wear coat and pants looks so good. Usually they will look like…toys, and this Joker looks like a real person, a 12″ person.The costume was design by Tam and Tsang.

Articulations; are superb! Because this action figure is wearing a suit, you can pose the action figure in almost anyway you want with no problem at all!

Colors; need I say more? Just look at the the face’s make up, judge it yourself. I like effects on the face, but if I’m a customizer I’ll wash the face a bit with some thinner. Only that nothing more, the rest is perfect.

Accessories; I like when a toy that I bought came with loads of accessories. I know not it’s only me that like it It came in the box with a pistol,a gun, 7 grenades, money, cards, a sports bag, a mask, a stand base and a couple of interchangeable hands. The action figure is stable enough to stand on it’s own but if you want to put it in a display cabinet the stand base should be very handy.By the way the handguns, like always the magazines are removable from the handguns.
