Transformers The Movie, Leader Class Brawl.

Hi there heroes, today just got my Leader Class Brawl from U.S ebay seller. I got it for USD45 including shipping, that is about RM150(under local market price). This is, (in my opinnion) the best Leader Class Transformers The Movie figure among three of them. This toy was made by Hasbro. I waited for this and skipped the Deluxe Class Brawl to get a Brawl figure.

Packaging; same as the two Leader Class before. This is a level 4 conversion rate Transformers. There is the description of Brawl at the back of the box. The box is red, blah,blah,blah….. Inside the box, Brawl was held by a hundreds of twisties ( I lied about that hundreds part) . There is also an instructions leaflet inside the box (you’ll probably need it).

The design; Brawl looks much more cool in Leader Class The transformation is hard but not as hard as Megatron, it only took me about 20 minutes to understand and transformed him ( I know it’s not the fastest). The advanced automorphs works fantastic( at least mine are). I was quite surprised with Brawl design, it’s got so many detail works on him, it got rivert on all over his body. It have gatling gun on his left arm, that when you slide it up the automorph functions will flip out a couples of claw/blade.

There is a machine gun up on the turret, and a rocket launcher on his right arm, there is also an advanced automorph tricks on that rocket launcher. The head design is not bad, it got a ball joint neck but movements (his head) are a bit limited. In tank mode Brawl looks unstopable, it is so massive and ready to crush the Deluxe Class Transformers. The electronis are great, I meant the sounds. There is a machine gun sound, a rocket launcher sound and cannon blast sound. No raptorsaurus sound like the one in Megs . Unlike Optimus Prime and Megatron, there is no button for sounds, you push the cannon barrel on the turret to make sound.

Articulations; is quite good considering the size and looks of him. It can poses more action pose than Megatron but not as good as Optimus Prime. The neck got ball joint as I said before, the knees can bends backward ( take look at the pics down there) and the elbow can also move freely.

Colorings; are fine but I think the rumored to be desert camo will look much better. The colorings on his face is not bad. The decepticon logo is on the cannon barrel. But for me if the color is just flat green and without the camo stripes is much better. It looks like a frog to me, with those stipes.

Worth or not to buy; yes this is the best Leader Class from the movie series besides Optimus Prime. You will not regret.

Transformers The Movie, Leader Class Megatron.

Hi there heroes, here is one of the most controversial toy this year,the Transformers The movie, Megatron; Leader Class Version. Bought this from HK ebayer for USD49 including shipping. It was made by Takara/Hasbro(mine got Japanese TF word sticker on the front of box, so maybe Takara) early this year or late last year. I got mine on June this year.
The box/packaging; the box, just like all Transformers Movie Leaderr Class ,Megatron came in red box with clear plastic window.There is a description of Megatron on the back of the box. The figure was holded by very hard to reach twisties. The figure was put in a plastic tray that was put on a piece of cardboard box.
The design; well if you are amazed by the design of Megatron in the movie,forget about it, this Megatron is a total disaster( at least, I felt that way). I am very dissapointed with what they(Takara/Hasbro) have done to this Megatron. The color and the design both make me felt sicked just by looking at the him. What’s up with the blue and pink color??? I wish they just paint the figure in grey or silver color( ???just like on the box???).They also put a pair of wings on Megatron’s back. In my opinion, they should be more focus on designing the figure to be more movie accurate in robot mode than the jet mode. They sacrificed the robot mode looks just to make the jet mode (which is just a few second shown in the movie) looks as same as in the movie. Megatron also have a big butt in this line. It have level 4 of conversion rate. It just to hard to transform Megatron (that’s why there is no jet mode photos,sorry) to his jet mode.It took me more than 2 hours to change him to jet mode the first time I got it. Actually I can change it to jet mode but, I just don’t felt like playing this Megatron. I always stucked on changing the legs parts, (I just don’t get it) why do they do it so hard to transform? Electronics; (for kids) there are two sounds and a light inside Megatron. There are also (cheap) gimmicks put to this toy, on Megatron’s right hand, he can shoot a retactive claw. While on the other hand they put a laser/plasma canon which is for me just too cheap ( it is too hard to press and hold).
Articulations; they are just to basic. Even the neck don’t have a ball joint, the pegs are just useless when it comes to transformation. They just won’t hold the parts.
If you are a Transformers fan( a completeist) you might just want to buy this Megatron, but if you’re not a fan, just forget about picking up one of this toy. It just don’t have the value for your money.

Kamen Rider No.2 (Kamen Rider: The First)

Hi there heroes, as I said before here is the figure I promised to review. The Medicom RAH Kamen Rider No.2 from Kamen Rider The First, movie.I got this from a Hong Kong ebay seller for USD140 including shipping that is about RM490 (what a luck!). Okay, this figure was realesed on 2006 (if I’m not mistaken), but I got this early this year (a bit too late, for a Kamen Rider fan T_T ).
Packaging; for most of new generation of Medicom RAH, they usually came in a box with a window and the window is covered by a flap with velcro.The design of the box is clean and simple with flat finish. Inside the box, there is a plastic tray with plastic cover.Also, an instruction leaflet came in the box along with some kind of form. Just like all the other RAH figure, no twisties (hooray!!)are used to hold the figure.
Design of the figure; this figure in my own opinion, is 99% movie acccurates.The costume was made from some kind of leather or maybe a very soft PVC material. I like with what Medicom have done with the head sculpt. As I said before, Medicom are well known for their great works on sculpting head with masked or helmet. The costume was sewn perfectly (my opinion).
Articlations; as same as all new generation of RAH, the figure have an excelent articularions, but the great articulations movements was limited by the the real cloth material used for the costume (I should know there is no perfect toys ) as the costume will pull back the joints when I try to pose it, especially at the torso joints. So that is why, the photos I taken shown the same poses . Other than that the figure is great.
Accessories; there are not much accessories given, just another four extra gloves,two gripped fist and two flaten fingers and a clear plastic stand for the figure.The figure itself is allready steady to stand, but I recomend you to use the stand if you are planning to keep your figure standing for a long time.
Colorings; there are not much colorings on this figure. They only used paints on the gloves, helmet(head), boots and some touch up on the costume (Shocker logo and wings on the back). Overall the paints job are at the highest standard( at least my standart).
So, is this figure worth to pay for? Yes, even if you are not a kamen Rider fans.

 Hi there heroes, today I got too many things to settle. Problems just pop up every where today  :)  . So , no reviews  or long article today, sorry . Tomorrow however I prommised there will be one more reviews. What will it be? I heard you said, well it’s a secret, but maybe it’s a twelve inch figure  :)  , maybe….

Decepticon Dropkick

Hi there heroes, today I went to Jusco and manage to get myself a Transformers The Movie, Decepticon Dropkick (what a lucky day today? ) at retail price! There are two left on the shelves, and from far away I saw the red and black packaging so I ran quickly to get it before the kids standing around there can took it ( ha ha). Ok,ok this figure was made by Hasbro, it cost me RM 49.90 that is about USD14.++.
Let see why I bought this toy. The packaging, like all deluxe class version of Transformers (movie or not)toys, they usually are carded type packaging (a piece of covered plastic tray glued to a thick card stock). The design of this packaging is according to the movie, the fonts and colors schemes are like in the movie posters, with Deceticon big logos on top of the front and the back of the card. There is a description (short story/origins) of the character on the back of the packaging. At the front, right bottom of the packaging, there is a Dropkick face illustration. There is an instruction leaflet inside.
This character is from the Transformers Video Game. That is why you don’t saw him on the movie . I did not have the chance to play the game yet(actualy I am waiting for the price of the PSP version to drop down a bit, cause from the reviews of the game, it seems like it is not realy a great game) . But forget about the game and see is it worth to get this toy.
The design, well it looks like Binaltech/Alternator Optimus Prime to me, when in vehicle mode.It’s a blue and silver colored pick-up truck. The blue color on this toy is a Decepticon logo actually, and it looks cool to me. From what I can see in this toy, this one got a good paint job done over it.
The conversion of tis toy is at the level 3.The TF movie toy actually uses the advance automorph technology (it means, when you moved a part it automaticly moved another parts, to make the conversion more easy and quick), but in this figure there is no mentioning on the packaging about the automorph. I personally think that the automorph is just a gimmick for kids and it just make the design of the toy lame. For me a decent toy is always accurate like in the movie, comic books or animation, take all the gimmicks out of the toys. In this toy I think the automorph is only on the torso. tell me if there are more automorph I did not mentioned . The head sculpt looks as in the ilusstrations, but the color of the face, they can do better.
Articulations are not bad for this one. Ball joint on the neck make it a so much better looking figure. The torso and upper legs also uses ball joint, so you see it is a very poseable figure.I was surprrised to see that the windshield of this toy is made from a clear plastic, it sure make a lot of differences to me.
So, is it worth to get this figure, to me yes it have a realy cool design in both vehicle or robot mode. The articulation and collorings are also great.

RAH X3 Wolverine.

Hi there heroes, today I got some time to play with my old collection. It is 1:6(12inch) Medicom Real Action Hero(RAH) X3 Wolverine. Let’s see how the figure earned it’s way in my collections. This figure was bought early this year. Won it from a HK ebay seller for USD70(thank god I was lucky!) +USD20 shipping. Retail price for this figure locally is about RM6++, that is about USD1++. This figure was one of the character in the X3: The Last Stand played by Hugh Jackman ( like you don’t know ) . I wont tell you about the story. Click here if you still don’t know the stories :). Medicom Toys ( a Japanese base co.)is well known for its RAH figures lines besides the Kubrick and Bearbrick.

Let’s talk about the packaging first, the box have a very clean and simple looks. The box design is (if I’m not mistaken) similarly looks like the danger room or maybe cerrebro wall. It got a window covered by a thick paper cover, like a hardbook cover. Inside it have a plastic tray covered by a plastic cover lid. Not a single twisties holding the figure in the plastic container(thanks medicom).

Move on to the figure, Wolverine’s costume(jacket and pants) was made from some sort of leather like cloth(or maybe a real leather???), it has a soft texture and looks very suitable with a 1:6 figure(because the wrinkles and folds looks so real). The tailoring for his leather jacket is superb! The jacket looks like the real costume in the movie, for me it 99.99% movie accurate, but some thing got to be saccrificed when you want to have a good looking costume. It even have the goldish yellow line sewn to the costume not just printed on to it , but some thing got to be saccrificed when you want to have a good looking costume. the stitches looks stretchy if you over pose the figure

The body used is probably just medicom naked kai, please correct me if i’m wrong . The articulation is great but I am a bit worried to over pose the figure cause I’m affraid I might tore the stitches. The head sculpt , well, Medicom is known for not to have the greatest head scuplt (for me he looks like a Chinese )on it’s RAH. They (Medicom) for me , is great for the head sculpt that have helmet or mask. For colorings, it’s not much in this figure, the only colored parts are the head sculpt, fists and the boots. I’m a bit dissaponted with the colorings on his face, Wolverine’s mousetache and beard looks like he got some dirts (or maybe hot chocolate???) smudges on to his face . They can do a better in my oppinion.

Accessories, like other RAH lines, they don’t have much.Well, with Wolverine what else do you want, he is the weapon. The figure came with a clear plastic stand and couple of extra fists.

I recomended you to get this figure even if you not a Medicom RAH fans. The figure have a high quality craftsmenship and surely will become rare due to is limited productions.
